       Weaving and Astrology Studies

The connection to nature and the yearning for unity between the earthly and the spiritual have always driven me, finding various expressions throughout my life. I was born with the name Gonit, which holds within it the hues of color, and since childhood, the energy of color has fascinated me. Over the years, I have been exploring the secrets of natural dyeing and botanical printing, attentive to the plant world that surrounds us, experiencing the magic and power of nature through the changing seasons. I built my home in Yodfat, nestled in the heart of the Galilee. Ancient Yodfat was a major weaving center in the Land of Israel some two thousand years ago, and the loom weights scattered across the site serve as a reminder of the vibrant life that once thrived here, marking my own life's path.

In Yodfat, I established a workshop center that intertwines spirit and matter. It is an active center for the study of astrology and ancient crafts weaving, spinning, natural dyeing, and botanical printing. A magical space that allows us to spin the thread of our lives, dye it in a myriad of natural colors, and weave it into a story and a tapestry that resonates with the energy of life, the energy of the stars. As part of my activities in the Galilee, I have built a foundation for human connections, a place where Jewish and Arab women create an island of peace, a shared human endeavor born of the rich cultural mosaic that makes up our land. I am grateful to the good people who have been partners on this journey and lent a helping hand.

I arrived at the world of astrology following the incredible journey of motherhood. The clear realization that each of my daughters brings a unique celestial gift to this world, one that goes beyond heredity, education, or environment, opened up a wondrous realm for me. I studied with a variety of remarkable teachers both in Israel and abroad, deepening my knowledge of astrology through various streams- developmental astrology alongside ancient traditional practices, horary astrology for specific chart inquiries, and experiential visual astrology that maintains a direct connection with the night sky. For me, astrology has become a tool to make higher energies accessible to us, channeling them in a practical and supportive way into our lives.

The integration of these different approaches forms the foundation for the astrology courses I teach—in-depth courses for beginners and advanced students alike—as well as for the personal consultation sessions I offer. Astrology is vast and infinite, like the canopy of the sky spread above us, and I continually explore its mysteries, remaining in awe of the magic of creation. In addition to delving deeply into astrology, I have studied numerology, Tarot, and animal totem cards, all of which are part of my toolkit. The thread spun between earth and sky connects times, reflecting Life's Weave. My life's thread calls me to explore the wondrous, to teach from the flowing spring. I am grateful for the privilege.

I invite you to join and learn the secrets of the stars in in-depth, year-long online courses, acquiring a supportive tool for life.

With blessings of earth and sky, Gonit Dattner
